Mid-Cycle Budgeting

All Saints fiscal year runs from July 1-June 30. This means the budget is generally approved in the spring. If a new ministry event idea arises mid-year, i.e. after the budget for that time period has been approved, follow these steps for introducing the idea:

  1. Dream up something new.
  2. Explore the concept enough to quantify the cost.
  3. Discuss it with your supervisor.
  4. Galvanize your team (incl. Coordinator) about the new idea. Work through any logistics that may be deal-breakers (e.g. if you are picky about dates, times, venues).
  5. Ask Tim to approve the extra-budgetary expense.
  6. Submit an eSPACE request for the event (including a registration form, if applicable).
