Mid-Cycle Budgeting
All Saints fiscal year runs from July 1-June 30. This means the budget is generally approved in the spring. If a new ministry event idea arises mid-year, i.e. after the budget for that time period has been approved, follow these steps for introducing the idea:
- Dream up something new.
- Explore the concept enough to quantify the cost.
- Discuss it with your supervisor.
- Galvanize your team (incl. Coordinator) about the new idea. Work through any logistics that may be deal-breakers (e.g. if you are picky about dates, times, venues).
- Ask Tim to approve the extra-budgetary expense.
- Submit an eSPACE request for the event (including a registration form, if applicable).
